“Europe, our history”

Bouton play Watch the video Watch the video

A 19-minute long movie that goes through the key dates of the 20th century. Starting with the promise of a prosperous century and marked by the successful changeover, this film plunges you swiftly into the World War I. Following the interwar period that saw the rise of both the totalitarian regimes and international tensions, the film carries on with the Second World War and then the Cold War. Although peace in Europe seems to have been gained since 1945, the film ends with a word of warning: “peace remains fragile”. We are at the eve of the wars in Yugoslavia.
